I realized I never made a post with the car done. This summer was so much fun that I didnt stop to make one. I put 4k miles of hell through this thing and it just kept going. So many good memories with friends and so much learned in the process. I ended up going to a holley terminator x max, building a custom c02 boost control, and wiring the vss and wheel speed for traction control. The car is like nothing I've ever experienced. It WILL work 100% of the time with the control and safety its got now. Truly amazing what you can do these days. Still on a 17" wheel and did manage to go 5.08 60-130 on the street with 10k da and still with the t56. It trapped 147 at the track with a bad wideband. Cant wait for next summer after I freshen the motor and change a couple things.

Huge thanks to my good friend for all the tuning. I built the car, you made it work. The car would not be what it is without your skills.

All the grinding and hustling for the money to build it, the hours on hours on hours in the garage, all the wiring and plumbing, all the obsessing over the details are well worth it. This summer reminded me why I wanted to do this in the first place. Cant wait to make some changes and go even faster.

My heart is broken for his family. This one hits very close to home for any real, God-fearing man. He was one of us.

I got the opportunity to put an kit on this mint c5z for that I had previously done a full naturally aspirated build on, using a red hot cam that works well with boost. It's got tons of headroom for the future with the fuel system and blower. It made an easy 700whp on e85 and soft timing.

Being an influence on a 13yo young man these days is hard, let alone a positive one. I could write a book on the subject.
He's got a crap old busted phone so we can see where he's at and stuff. No social media. It's probably embarrassing to take to school, so he leaves it home a lot. I happened to see if it was dead today because he left it again, and there was a c5z on him home screen. I'm not sure when he did that, but I'm pretty happy about it. You don't get a lot of feedback as a parent. I'll call this a win.

This is a really significant picture for me. I used to work at . Angelo let me run the cylinder head side of the shop after I learned what i needed to know, and I did anything from stock heads to full race big block stuff while learning from who is a master of his craft. 7 years ago, I started John's speed and automotive and have used for any engine I've had rebuilt stock, or built to make 1###whp, probably 30+ engines if I had to guess. To have som**hing with my shop logo, Sheldon's initials, and the logo all together really means som**hing to me. and I applied what we've learned over the years to put together som**hing I think is special for my c5z. Can't wait to hear this 377 with a big cam at 7500+ with all a V7 YSI can shove down this trinity's throat, while being controlled by a terminator x max and c02 boost control.

I was able to go 142 in the chaos rolls last night at bandimere. I was shooting for 140, so 142 felt great. The car was detonating pretty bad, and I couldn't make any adjustments because my hp tuners wouldn't work for some reason. Still very happy. Full gas tank, 26" tire, stock bottom end, stock heads, stock intake, stock throttle body, E66, no m**h, and saw 11.7psi boost.
