❄️ COLD WEATHER RV PREP!

Colder temperatures are on their way! Is your RV ready? 👀

As the weather starts cooling down, a little preparation now can help prevent costly problems later.

Here are 4 things to check before freezing temperatures arrive:

💧 Protect Your Plumbing: Winterize your water system before freezing temperatures can cause damage.

🔋 Check Your Battery: Make sure your battery is charged and properly maintained during colder weather.

🔧 Inspect Your Roof & Seals: Check for cracks, gaps, or damaged sealant that could allow moisture inside.

🌡️ Prepare for Freezing Temps: Check your RV's heating system and protect any exposed water lines.

Don't wait until the first freeze to start thinking about your RV!

Need help getting your RV ready for colder weather? Our McKee RV Service Department is here to help!

🚐 **RV TERMS MADE SIMPLE: THE 3 HOLDING TANKS!**

Fresh, gray, and black water tanks. What's the difference? 🤔

Whether you're new to RVing or just need a quick refresher, understanding your RV's holding tanks is an important part of camping!

💧 **FRESH WATER TANK**
Stores clean water for your sinks, shower, and toilet flushing when you're not connected to a water hookup.

🩶 **GRAY WATER TANK**
Collects used water from your sinks and shower.

🖤 **BLACK WATER TANK**
Holds wastewater and waste from your RV toilet until it's time to empty it at a designated dump station.

💡 **RV TIP:** When emptying your holding tanks, always dump the black tank first, followed by the gray tank. This helps rinse out your sewer hose!

Knowing how your RV works makes every adventure a little easier!
