We’ve been made aware that a local State Farm agent office is expressing concern about our repair approach to mutual customers—specifically, now stating that we install brand-new OEM parts on vehicles like an older 2006 model. 🤦♂️
Let’s be clear about something:
At Byrd’s Body Shop, our priority has always been safe, proper, and complete repairs—no matter the year of the vehicle. When we recommend new parts, it’s not about “upgrading” a car… it’s about:
✅ Proper fit and function
✅ Maintaining structural integrity
✅ Ensuring long-term safety and reliability
✅ Standing behind the repairs we perform
It’s also important to remember: the vehicle owner always has the final say in what parts are used and what repairs are performed. Our role is to provide guidance, explain the options, and support our customers in making the decision that’s right for them.
Every vehicle owner deserves to have their car restored the right way—not the cheapest way.
We understand insurance companies have guidelines—but we will never compromise repair quality or safety just to meet a savings target.
If you ever have questions about your repair options or what’s best for your vehicle, we’re here to walk you through it every step of the way.
Your car. Your choice. Your safety matters.
