⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Thank You, Trisha!

Sometimes the damage you can see isn't the whole story. After disassembly, we found hidden damage that required insurance approval and additional parts before repairs could be completed.

We appreciate your patience and are proud that we could restore your vehicle safely and properly. Thank you for trusting Byrd's Body Shop and for your 5-star review!

🚗 Quality repairs are worth doing right the first time.

🚨 Would You Survive the Same Crash in a 30-Year-Old Vehicle? 🚨

The IIHS recently put a 1996 Chevrolet Blazer and a 2026 Chevrolet Blazer through a head-to-head crash test—and the results are eye-opening. The newer Blazer's safety cage remained largely intact, while the older vehicle experienced severe occupant compartment intrusion that would likely result in life-threatening injuries.¹²

What does this mean for drivers today?

Modern vehicles are designed with advanced crash structures, airbags, sensors, and safety systems that work together to protect occupants during a collision. But those systems can only do their job when a vehicle is repaired correctly after an accident.

At Byrd's Body Shop, we believe every repair should restore your vehicle's safety—not just its appearance. That's why we follow OEM repair procedures, perform required calibrations, and focus on returning vehicles to their pre-loss condition whenever possible.

Your vehicle's biggest safety feature isn't the paint.
It's the structure and safety systems you can't see.

Watch this video and see how far vehicle safety has come in 30 years. Then ask yourself:

**If your vehicle is ever involved in a collision, do you want it repaired to manufacturer standards—or to the lowest cost?**

🚨 A cheaper estimate doesn’t mean a better repair.
Two estimates can be thousands apart—and that usually means something is missing.
The first insurance estimate is often written before full disassembly. Hidden damage, required calibrations, or OEM procedures may not be included yet.
So what are you really comparing?
👉 Price… or completeness?
A lower number might look better upfront—but it can lead to delays, supplements, or worse… an incomplete repair.
At Byrd’s Body Shop, we focus on doing it right the first time:
✅ Thorough disassembly & inspection
✅ Proper documentation
✅ OEM-focused repairs for your safety
Don’t just ask how much—ask what’s included.
