Although we do not offer this service at our office, here’s an update for all our customers!
Don't have your Arizona Travel ID? If not, you may now be subject to a TSA fee if you're traveling at airports.
Starting Feb. 1, those without federally compliant credential, such as a passport or the Arizona Travel ID, will pay a $45 fee to TSA. ADOT has no direct role in that – the fee pays for processing costs to use TSA's ConfirmID verification system.
The good news is we've made it easier than ever to obtain your Travel ID. Appointments can be booked online (see the link in the comments). The process is easy and quick if you bring the documentation needed. Average wait times are 12-15 minutes and the total time spent in the office is 25-30 minutes.
Arizonans have the choice to keep a standard state ID or an Arizona Travel ID.
