Finally, finally, finally had all the pieces to complete the M20 four-speed swap. Did some minor tuning to the carb and think it sounds good! Lit a 1 tire fire! Getting ready to sell; 63 Nova Wagon 283, camels, edelbrock intake and 1405, electric fans.

After months of work - you are in a hurry to start your sh*tbox and you forget to actually bolt carburetor down smh jfc.

1982 Chevy c30 CNC short-bed conversion 350/sm465. This is my truck. There are many like it, but this one is mine.
My truck is my best friend. It is my life. I must master the truck as I must master my life.
I don’t think these trucks can ever be mastered, they have personalities and minds of their own. I’ve had good ones and some literal f-ing demons. I actually think this one is a keeper, it’s got a ride and feel. Also has been pleasure to work on.

Putting this built 350 w/ a cam, crank, 1.6 roller/rockers, World heads, dual plane Edelbrock with a TH400 trans in this 53 Ford sitting on a 2000 something Chevy express frame... introducing Frankentruck. Grabbed this completely original 89’ Ford Bronco XLT out of a backyard in Arleta, Ca. One of my favorite trucks, I had a 96 XLT fire engine red with grey leather interior, it was beautiful and I freakin’ loved it. My daughter still reminds me of driving through huge puddles making these insane “street wakes” of water when it was storming outside. This hasn’t run in five years...ugh. Time to get the defibrillator out and crankin’ the voltage to 11 for this guy.

Got the 283 in and running pretty decent by ear...need to time lite it and chase some minor leaks. Great vintage feel and drive to it, picks up really quick for the 350 trans. However, I have begun my search for Muncie 4-speed...can’t wait. I’m gonna need a bigger rear end, but it will be fun breaking this one.

Caved in and ended up doing a v8 swap on the 63’ Nova Wagon - 283, bored with a cam, Edelbrock 1405 & Torker II intake and some camel heads out of a 67’ Nova. Hoping to make a little more power than the 194 inline six!

Last run with the 194 I6, it chirps the tires going to second! This thing has been parked since 2005, wouldn’t hesitate to drive it to Vegas! I mean we’d only be going 55-60 mph but hey we’d still get there. My wife always says if it’s not broke - don’t fix it...but there’s nothing in there about if it’s slow making it faster!!!
