Salmon Wagon Charters Salmon Wagon Sportfishing offers charter fishing trips on Lake Michigan for Salmon, Lake Trout, Brown Trout, Steelhead, Cohos and Perch.

The boat is a 25' Cherokee Brave. The boat has a private head and all the latest in fishing equipment, electronics and safety equipment. We offer 4-6 hour charters for up to 4 people.

Preparing several rods for an upcoming fishing trip this weekend. At this time of year, the water typically exhibits a significant amount of color, usually within the top 10-15 feet of the water column, so my preferred spoons feature bright colors on gold or copper blanks. Once we reach depths below 20 feet, I switch to silver blanks and patterns incorporating green or blue hues where the water starts to clear up.
