Our Pensacola Sailing School is located in the Historic Downtown District, at Seville Harbour Marina. American Sailing Association classes include Basic KeelBoat, Basic Coastal Cruising, Bareboat Chartering, Coastal Navigation, and Advance Coastal Cruising. Set your sails in the wide-open Pensacola Bay, Intracoastal Waterway, East Bay, and Big Lagoon. Explore these beautiful waters by joining the

"Buccaneer Sailing Club" where members sail as often as they like on the 22 - 25 foot boats in the Pensacola fleet. For a true sailing adventure enjoy a captained sail on our 393 Beneteau "Splendid Adventuer". Day and overnight charters available. Other offerings include Sunset Sails, History/ Ecology Tours, and "Let's Go Sailing" a three-hour introductory lesson.

If someone handed you the keys to a sailboat and said, “You’ve got the whole day—where are you going?”

⛵ Fun Fact: Experienced sailors can often estimate wind speed without checking an instrument—they simply look at the water!

Small ripples, scattered whitecaps, and the size and movement of the waves all offer clues about how strongly the wind is blowing. Over time, sailors learn to “read” the surface of the water and use what they see to make decisions about sail trim, course direction, and safety.

It’s one of those skills that comes with knowledge, practice, and plenty of time at the helm.
