DRIVER IMPROVEMENT COURSE-(In Person)🚔 Can be taken voluntarily, to reduce insurance rates, by court order,DMV assigned or to reduce/remove points from driving record. DRIVER IMPROVEMENT CLINIC (Online) -💻To benefit from the course, you must be able to work independently and be comfortable with using a computer, wit internet connection. The online driver improvement course and “End of Course” final test can be taken online. The online driver improvement course is an eight-hour course, designed to rehabilitate problem drivers. The course must be completed in its entirety prior to the issuance of certificate of completion. Student identification will be verified through-out training and prior to taking the final test to ensure that the person taking the course is the same person taking the final test. Open book testing is not permitted. Technical Assistance must be submitted via the Help Desk by calling 804-943-4280 Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm. The Certificate of Completion will be electronically transmitted to all individuals upon successful completion within 24 hours, and will be posted to your driving record. DMV is committed to promoting transportation safety through the certification of quality driver training programs if you have any comments or concerns about this course, call the Department of Motor Vehicles. The toll free number (1-877-885-5790). If the certificate is presented to DMV, it must be printed on 8 ½ x 11 plain white bonded paper with any form of advertisement on the front and back of the certificate. DMV will not accept any certificates that have been altered in any way. This course is available to juveniles and adults. DRIVER MANUAL COURSE-(In Person)🚦Required for anyone who has failed the knowledge or road test 3X, in order to retest. The upcoming date for this course is SEPTEMBER 19 @ 8:00 a.m. Students under the age of 18 must have successfully completed the applicable knowledge (Driver Education Classroom Course or Road Test) before taking the Manual Course in order to retest the fourth time. Proof is required via (DEC-1 Card from the high school where course was taken or Certificate from State Approved Course. Preregistration is required).NOTE: This course Is taught every other month and preregistration is required. For more information, please call 2765466061.

Documents must be emailed or presented before enrolling in the Manual Course. Drivers 18 and over do not have to take the classroom driver education course in order to take the Driver’s Manual Course. Coursework is provided by leedrivingschool.net. Go to the Service Tab, Click on Online Courses & then Click on Manual Course to enroll. Once payment is received, a link will be emailed to begin the course. An Electronic Certificate (DTS8 E) will be emailed to the student after completion of the course to the email provided by the student taking the course in the “Registration “ portal in the driver’s training website (leedrivingschool.net). RECKLESS & AGGRESSIVE DRIVING EDUCATION PROGRAM -(Online) 🚗This 12-hour Reckless and Aggressive Driver Education Program (RADEP) is intended for drivers in Virginia who have received a reckless or aggressive driving citation and have been ordered by the court to complete a driver education course. The program is designed to meet the general instructional requirements associated with the 12-hour RADEP standard. Upon successful completion,certificate sent electronically within 24 hours. Preregistration is required by going to leedrivingschool.net, Choose Services tab, Click on Online Courses, Choose Manual Course, Make Payment, Once payment is received, a link to register and begin course will be sent via email. DRIVER EDUCATION CLASSROOM- (In Person)🚘 Juveniles and adults may take this course. The course lasts 36 hours, as required by DMV. Upon successful completion, a Certificate is Completion will be issued. Juveniles must take the classroom portion, before taking the Behind the Wheel Course, and a Temporary License will be issued upon successful completion. Adults do not have to have this course to obtain a Learner's or License. However, if taken he/she may drive with and take the final Road Test given by Lee Driving School and an Adult Waiver will be issued upon successful completion. The course is State Approved and meets the DMV requirements. Students will take their final test at the classroom , as scheduled within normal business hours. Students must present a DTS62 granting permission prior to taking the final test. BEHIND THE WHEEL COURSE- (In Person) 🚓 Juveniles may take this course after completing the Classroom portion of Driver Education. Adults may take this course without having to take the classroom. ADULT WAIVER-(In Person)🚒 This course is available to adults. Students must hold a valid Virginia Learner’s Permit and have had Driver Education Classroom previously.Proof (DEC-1) or an official transcript must be presnted prior to taking this course. Upon successful completion , an Adult Waiver will be awarded and Driver License will be issued by the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles.
