This past week, our crew headed to the Cape to restore this heavily oxidized Everglades, and the transformation speaks for itself.
This 2-day restoration began with a test spot to determine the proper correction process. After evaluating the finish, we chose a heavier-cut compound to remove the severe oxidation. Because a heavy cut leaves behind micro-marring, we followed it with a full machine polish using a dual-action polisher to refine the surface and restore clarity. To finish, we applied a machine wax with the DA, bringing back the deep, glossy shine this beautiful boat deserved.
On day two, we completed our professional detail wash and focused on every finishing touch—from the windlass and hardware to the cabin, bathroom, and twin outboards. Every surface was cleaned, restored, and protected to ensure the boat looked its absolute best from bow to stern.
