Blue Mule Racing Blue Mule Racing is a race team created by Matt Vos and Brad Roorda of Pella Iowa.

The race truck is a 2002 GMC Sonoma built for land speed racing at the Bonneville Salt Flats, concrete standing mile and open road racing.

Unfortunate end to our Speedweek. Matt flat spun this morning at mile 2 around 200 mph. Good news is he’s ok, not so much for the truck. It’s going to need more repairs than we can make on the salt. We’ll be back, just have to get this figured out. 22 hour truck ride on the way home will result in many discussions.

I can’t thank everyone enough that helped us this year. Don’t worry we’re not giving up.
