Performance Engineering

Performance Engineering In order to spend sufficient time with new product development and testing, doors are only open by Bringing automotive performance to the next level!

By definition, Performance engineering* encompasses the set of roles, skills, activities, practices, tools, and deliverables applied at every phase of the Systems Development Lifecycle which ensures that a solution will be designed, implemented, and operationally supported to meet the non-functional requirements defined for the solution.

The doing some ! This is one of those times where you’ve always known a subject of training will become really useful down the road but you don’t know how or when....The drafting/drawing experience I gained from some really smart engineers at a cast iron pipe plant has been leveraged to being able to . So very thankful for the skill and software that are about open up a few doors. This model is the core piece of a very familiar product in the automotive performance world made exclusively for a good friend of mine. I’m saving the detail of the product for the actual release through my friends company and website but I will share it here so everyone will know where they can buy one. :). Day by day we’re making strides to fully become an engineering business and this is a giant one! I think 2021 is going to be a big year!

The first of the filament parts coming off the . The part was made to double check dimensions, normally done using , but I’m making process adjustments for the new filament at the same time. I currently have two filaments with the integrated carbon, this being the cheaper of the two. It has a 250C melt point and is very strong so I’m anticipating being able to print usable automotive parts with this process. It won’t make pistons or driveshafts or anything in those categories but should be perfect for fl**ge adapters, brackets, and interior parts. The expensive carbon/nylon filament I have is on another planet as far as strength and heat resistance. I’ve upgraded most the printer parts to handle the stronger carbon but still have to do a little work on the extruder to start printing. I’ll likely get a second printer to print the expensive stuff so we get good, consistent parts from it. This opens up an entirely new world for the business. I can literally dream up a part and 8 hours later have it in my hand. There aren’t many things on earth that can provide that type of satisfaction. I keep asking myself why it took so long to buy the first one. Lol.

This 2017 was a dream to ! It’s a very expensive car but you don’t have to look around very much to see where the money went. It’s a little heavy, but at 700hp, it does a nice job of pinning you to the seat 🤪🤪.

Most cars that come through the shop have plenty of horsepower so it takes something pretty special to catch my attention. This car, owned by a good friend, mentor, and business partner Keith K. is one of my favorite cars of all time. If 2011 made a Buick Grand National, this would be it. Aside from the obvious, subtle styling mods, Keith and I planned very few but very critical parts to give this car the power to outrun even it’s own appearance. It’s only getting faster as we spend time analyzing data. We aren’t throwing money at it or buying common parts, we’re trying to do more with less and so far it’s working. Never thought a would be on the top of my list but I’ve been wrong before. Lol. The only issue we’ve had so far is having to remove the emblems from the rear bumper lol.

I find that most of the time when people are going on and on about priority they have a 90 degree bend directly in front of the housing. There are a lot of factors in the system design but keep in mind the idea is to make , not wastegate flow. You only need to bypass enough flow to regulate . So many ways to make both things efficient.
