⚙️ A plugged differential vent can cause more damage than you might think!

This seal was damaged after the differential vent became stopped up. With nowhere for the heat and pressure to escape, the differential fluid overheated and excessive pressure built up inside the housing, ultimately damaging the seal.

A small, inexpensive vent can turn into a much bigger repair when it can’t do its job.

Finding the root cause matters—not just replacing the leaking seal.

Direct-injected engines are great for performance and efficiency, but they have one common issue: carbon buildup on the intake valves.

Because fuel is injected directly into the cylinder, it doesn’t wash over the back of the intake valves like it does on traditional port-injected engines. Over time, carbon deposits can build up and cause rough idle, misfires, hesitation, and loss of performance.

This vehicle was due for a cleaning, so we performed a walnut blasting service to safely remove the carbon buildup and get those intake valves cleaned back up.
