One of the biggest highlights was an entire hall dedicated to Steve McQueen and the legendary Porsche 917K—a true icon of motorsport history! 🔥

Atlanta was the perfect setting, with Porsche Cars North America headquartered right there.

1976 Porsche 912E Thermal Reactor Bypass Pipes!

The 912E Thermal Reactor Solution Is Back.

After several years unavailable, Bursch is once again manufacturing its specialized thermal-reactor bypass pipes for the 1976 Porsche 912E.

Bursch thermal reactor bypass pipes are short, tubular exhaust adapters designed specifically to replace the original, heavy thermal reactors found on U.S.-specification 1976 Porsche 912E models.

The factory thermal reactors were designed as part of the 912E’s emissions-control system and operate at extremely high temperatures. Over time, the heat generated by the reactors can contribute to increased temperatures in the engine compartment and accelerated aging of nearby components. The Bursch bypass pipes provide a simpler, lighter alternative by replacing the thermal reactors with free-flowing exhaust tubing.

These pipes have been unavailable for several years. Bursch is now remanufacturing these specialized 912E components, making them available again to owners, restorers, and enthusiasts who want to replace deteriorated or missing original thermal reactors.
