Sometimes, one repair reveals another issue that wasn’t visible before. That’s why proper diagnosis, clear communication, and realistic expectations matter.

At Tokyo Automotive, we want you to understand what’s being repaired, what it covers, and what could still come up down the road. No surprises, just honest conversations. 👊

Have you ever fixed one issue with your car only to discover another? 👇

Every business has a beginning. For Tokyo Automotive, it started in September 1978. 🇯🇵🔧

From spending years in Buena Park to packing up a U-Haul and moving to Placentia, the journey was built on hard work, family, and a vision that kept growing.

Nearly five decades later, that legacy continues. ❤️

This is one reason having a good mechanic matters. At Tokyo Automotive, our Digital Vehicle Inspections let you see what we’re seeing, right from your phone. 📱🚗

As your vehicle is inspected, our technicians can send photos, updates, and information showing what was found and what’s already been tested, so you’re not left wondering what’s happening behind the scenes. 🔧👀

Not every shop offers this level of digital communication, and we believe you should be able to see and understand what’s going on with your car.

Would you want your mechanic to show you everything they find? 👇

It might look faster to grab the impact right away, but one cross threaded bolt can turn a simple job into a much bigger problem. 👀

That’s why we start bolts by hand, make sure the threads are lined up properly, and then use the tools. Small step, big difference. 🔧

Would you trust a shop that skips this step? 👇

A neglected timing belt can turn routine maintenance into a major engine repair.

On vehicles that use a timing belt, staying on top of the service interval can help prevent serious engine damage.

Don’t wait for the belt to fail. Stay ahead of the maintenance. 🔧
