Saturday night was proof that grassroots drag racing is alive and well at Paris Dragstrip.

The cars, the competition, the packed pits, the fans in the stands, and the friendships made throughout the night are what make this place special. Every racer who entered, every crew member who turned a wrench, and every fan who bought a ticket played a part in making it happen.

As a track, we can prep the surface, turn on the lights, and open the gates—but it’s the people who show up that create the atmosphere.

We’re thankful for every racer who trusts us with their weekend, every sponsor who supports our program, and every fan who chooses Paris Dragstrip for a night of entertainment.

The wins, losses, and memories made on Saturday night are what keep us coming back.

Thank you for supporting local drag racing and helping keep this tradition alive.

We’re looking forward to a great night of racing and want to make sure everyone has the information they need before heading to the track.

📍 Gates Open: 3:00 PM

📍 Bracket Racing

* Time Trials begin at 4:30 PM
* Jr Dragsters first
* Footbrake and Super Pro to follow

📍 Heads-Up & Index Racing

* Competition begins around 7:00 PM
* Index classes will receive two time trials
* Small Tire competitors will receive one test hit

Racers: Please pay for your tech card and buy-in with the ladies at the gate upon arrival.

⚠️ Parking Notice: The spectator side remains wet in some areas. Please use caution when parking and be mindful of ground conditions.

The staff has worked hard to prepare the facility, and we’re excited to welcome racers and fans from across the region for a full evening of competition.

The lock-ins keep rolling in, and Antoine Butler is bringing HUH MAN to Paris Dragstrip on May 30th looking for one thing — win lights.

Small Tire is shaping up to be one of the toughest classes of the night, with racers from all over loading up and getting ready to take their shot. There won’t be any easy rounds and there definitely won’t be any room for mistakes.

If you’re planning on showing up, come ready. The competition is getting deeper with every lock-in announcement, and the list of racers capable of taking home the money keeps growing.

Another racer has stepped into the lion’s den for May 30th at Paris Dragstrip.

Jacob Stephens is bringing the Camaro and looking to cash in, but standing in the way is a field full of racers who aren’t interested in helping anybody’s plans.

And to the dragster crowd…

Those long wheelbase hot rods may look intimidating in the staging lanes, but win lights don’t care how many feet of tubing you’re sitting in. Plenty of dragsters have rolled into Paris feeling unbeatable and rolled out wondering where it all went wrong.

The door cars are loading up, the lock-ins are growing, and there’s more than a few racers hoping to send a dragster back to the trailer early.

Another Footbrake contender has officially joined the lineup for May 30th at Paris Dragstrip.

John Johnson is bringing his Chevrolet pickup to the staging lanes and looking to make some noise under the lights. Footbrake racers continue to lock in, and the competition is shaping up to be one of the toughest fields we’ve seen.

If you’re planning to race, now is the time to get your name on the list. Every new lock-in adds another challenge and raises the level of competition.
