BUCKET LIST TRIP! 9 days,4584 miles,15 states, 13 months of planning, 4 rigs, 1 killer trip! A lot of work in the shop and a lot planning went into making this possible. We had an awesome group some started as good customers but have became better friends. We loaded up and headed across the country to tackle some of the country’s most iconic trails. The Rubicon trail did not disappoint. One challenge after another. A day in Moab to learn a little about the area and start making plans for a week long trip there down the road. Back in the shop ready to get back to work. Thanks to all of our customers who help make all this possible by trusting us with their rigs. And big thanks to my amazing wife who supports me in all my crazy adventures. I couldn’t do what I do without her!

Another regear and drive shaft swap headed out. This one came to us due to constant shifting after adding larger tires. Doesn’t matter if you trail ride or just cruising up and down the road which was the case with this one. If you add larger tires it causes the transmission to work harder. We can evaluate what ratio gear you need and get everything back to operating like it’s still on factory size tires. We are a Yukon Gear and Axle master installer shop. A whole lot of hours in the shop and a bunch of preparation has went into getting to this point. After this weekend we have about everything dialed in for our bucket list trip out west to hit some iconic trails. Windrock Park never disappoints. A faulty fuel pump on Friday afternoon and mother nature tried to spoil our trip. Heavy rains overnight Friday into Saturday morning delayed our departure as well as an earlier morning run to Knoxville to get another pump. Departed Saturday around 10 AM and rolling back into camp around midnight all 4 rigs performed great with no major issues. Time to get back at it in the shop. Big thanks to Performance Products in Knoxville TN for having the pump we needed for the ole wood hauler. If your ever in the area hit these guys up huge inventory of performance and hot rod parts.
