Finished up this 438 cid SBC 23 Deg 3.0V Profiler headed Dirt Drag Engine today with some updates from the original build back in 2017.
884 hp at 8100 (2.02 hp / cid)
655 tq at 6200 (1.495 tq / cid)
841 avg hp from 6200 to 8400
We made a bore size change from 4.170 to 4.177 with new custom Ross Pistons along with a manifold change from Edelbrock 2970/71 to the IronHide 2205-3 with Vector Performance Ron Jr Warrick doing the port work along with fresh valve job by Brett Miller. Also, had Wes Collins build some custom headers for the truck along with my new custom BLP CARB.
These changes netted us an increase of 41 avg hp from 6200-8400. It made 855 hp / 625 tq on the original build back in 2017.
