🚨 NOTICE OF CLOSURE 🚨

Rockwell Automotive will be closed tomorrow, Friday, October 9th due to the weather coming in from Hurricane Isaias to allow our family and employees to tackle any last minute storm preparations.

We will not be back in the office until Monday, October 12th. However, if there is anything you need to reach us about, please feel free to email us directly or leave us a voicemail. We will get back to you first thing Monday morning to handle any scheduling details or issues you may be having!

Thank you so much for understanding, and we pray everyone remains safe over the weekend! ❤️🙏

Rockwell Automotive is ready for the weather... are you?! 🌧️

🛞 Check those tires
🔋 Make sure your battery is in good shape
⛽ Fill up the tank (whoever can afford that 😭💵😂)
🔦 Have your emergency supplies ready
🏡 Secure anything outside that could blow around

If you don't have anywhere you NEED to be, stay off the roads and stay safe! Keep in mind, pre-storm prep still comes in handy post-storm!

P.S. This was a real picture of Chris I used....who wants me to post the OG?! 😂

P.S.S. I did get approval from Chris to use/edit this photo and he does not hate me 😅 - Marah
Take care of yourselves, check on your neighbors, and stay safe out there, Bay County! 💙

Just a quick, helpful video to show you an easy way to check your tire's tread depth!

🪙 THE PENNY TIRE TREAD TEST

Not sure if your tires still have enough tread? Here's a quick way to check them at home!

1️⃣ Grab a penny.

2️⃣ Place the penny upside down in one of the grooves of your tire tread. Lincoln's head should be pointing down into the tread.

3️⃣ Look at Lincoln's head.

👉 If you can see the top of Lincoln's head, your tread is at or below 2/32" and it's time to replace the tire.

👉 If part of Lincoln's head is covered by the tread, you have more than 2/32" remaining.

⚠️ Keep in mind: The penny test is a quick at-home check—not a substitute for an actual tread-depth measurement. Tires can also have uneven wear, damage, or other issues that a penny test won't catch.

🌧️ With the rainy weather we're having and more headed our way, we wanted to give a little Tire Safety PSA!

🛞 Check your tire's tread depth.
If you're not sure what you're looking at when checking tread depth, here's a penny trick you can use to gauge your tread depth:

💨 Check your tire pressure (PSI) regularly.
Properly inflated tires help your vehicle handle and perform as intended, especially on wet roads.

🔎 Check your tires for damage.
Look for things like bulges, cracks, or uneven wear.

🌧️ Pay attention to how your vehicle feels in the rain.
If you're feeling slipping or losing traction, don't ignore it. If your tires are worn or have very little life left, driving in the rain is NOT where you want to find out!

If you're not sure how much life is left in your tires, bring them by Rockwell Automotive. We'd be happy to take a look and give you some clarification on what your tires need.

Be safe out there, Bay County - We ❤️ You!

Let's be honest, HE has a favorite! 😂 What's yours?!

Personally, I think the sass is hilarious 💁🏻‍♂️ , but we all know his best work is done under the hood 🛻

We have so much to be thankful for on this beautiful Monday!

How is your week going so far?! Have you had your starter fluid yet (AKA, coffee)?! 😄

If you’ve had a vehicle repaired here at Rockwell Automotive, you know we push, push, PUSH for a proper diagnosis before we ever start replacing parts! 🔧

We’ve had so many vehicles come in with customers who were SURE that *insert problem part here* was the culprit… only for us to find out that the actual issue was either:

🔹 MUCH smaller than expected and we were able to repair the vehicle for a MUCH more affordable price, saving the customer lots of money 😅

OR…

🔹 MUCH bigger than expected which meant simply replacing the part they suspected could have left the real problem undetected and would have caused further damage to the vehicle down the road 🛻

We will always take the customer’s concerns and requests into consideration, but we highly recommend a proper diagnostic before throwing parts at a problem.

Our technicians at Rockwell Automotive have a knack for tracking down those weird, frustrating problems that can leave you thinking you've hit a dead end 🤚🏻

Come see for yourself if you're having no luck figuring out your vehicle mystery! We would LOVE to take a look at it!
