Finished up this "budget" job(lol) for my cousin and his wife. Had lots of Florida sun damage and needed freshening up along with the lights getting a makeover for safety and looks.

No matter who does your bedliner make sure it's sanded with at least 180grit or a nylon cup brush. Scotchbrite pads are not enough. I also spray with bulldog adhesive promoter but I don't know anyone else that does.
