More catching up from the ride north, hoping to encourage you to get out and ride!
We went from the Minneapolis area, out to central MN, to visit friends and family. We stopped in to the Red River Inn to visit with the owner and long-tine friends. Wow has her salt & pepper shaker collection grown!
We had no further agenda, so we decided to extend our trip to the North Shore of Lake Superior. We ended this segment watching the sunset over the harbor in Grand Marais, MN.
This was the first time we had traveled together on a bike. Learning to pack for two with an unknown end date was an experience. And I am guilty of not having proper gear for my wife (I know, shame on me), other than her helmet and gloves, so we corrected that. Of course, that means more stuff on a full bike, so we picked this groovy Reax dry bag duffle from Cycle Gear , which fit perfectly on the tourpack.
