Hi guys, it’s me, Ally The Operations Manager.
I know this may come as a shock, and I’m truly so sorry. I just want to start by saying how thankful I am for every single person who walked through our doors and made an impact not only on Kartona, but on me personally.
For a little backstory, I started in 2023 as a team member and worked my way up to social media manager, then to operations manager. Kartona has taught me more than I could ever put into words.
It completely redefined what I thought “work” was supposed to feel like. I genuinely loved coming in every day!
Some of my favorite memories were the behind-the-scenes moments, like Lemons racing, where we bought a $500 car and just sent it around road Atlanta and barber Motorsport.
A very special part of Kartona’s story is the Cobb-Robinson family. Getting to know them and creating private events together is something I’ll always cherish. And especially Ethan Cobb-Robinson, who tragically passed away in December. He will forever be a part of Kartona’s legacy.
And it wasn’t just the racing, ( don’t get me wrong I loved competing for the fastest lap against you guys😂💗) it was the people. The regulars, the families, the kids, the vacationers… all of you made this place what it was.
I could go on and on, but the most important thing I want to say is this: For now, Kartona will be closing until further notice, but I truly believe this isn’t the end… just a pause in the story.
I’d really love to hear your stories!! Feel free to share your favorite memories💗
