We couldn’t be prouder of one of our Quick Stop family members! ❤️
Today, we’d like to recognize BrayCyn, the grandson of our manager, Candy, for his quick thinking and bravery during a recent medical emergency at our Main Cross Street location.
When a customer collapsed and suffered a head injury, BrayCyn immediately called 911 and stayed calm while checking on the man until help arrived. Responding Officer Kristen Rathbone praised his actions, saying he handled the situation better than many adults.
As a small token of our appreciation, we were honored to present BrayCyn with a plaque recognizing his outstanding courage and compassion.
Please join us in congratulating BrayCyn for reminding us that heroes come in all ages. We’re incredibly proud to have him as part of the Quick Stop family! 👏❤️
Heroes can come in all shapes and sizes, but Palmyra’s recent hero has come on the smaller side of sizes!
Recently at Quick Stop on Main Cross Street, a man collapsed in the store and hurt his head and was bleeding. BrayCyn Wassell reacted promptly and called 911 and checked on the man. Officer Kristen Rathbone was the responding officer on the scene to witness the heroism. She thanked BrayCyn for his calm and collected efforts and said that he acted and responded way better than the average adult.
After the incident, Quick Stop Manager, Candy Florea, made sure that BrayCyn was recognized for his efforts and had a plaque designed for him.
This morning, we recognize his heroism, and thank BrayCyn for his actions on helping a person in medical trouble!
