Good evening, everyone. We just wanted to let you know that the dog park is open ahead of schedule! Thank you to everyone who helped make this possible and to those who patiently waited for us to complete this project.

A couple of reminders:
- the park hours will be from 8am - 10pm (gates will be locked from 10pm - 8am)
- please DO NOT let your pets dig (be respectful to those who worked very hard to make it nice and for other residents and guests)
- please pick up any waste from your pet (this keeps the park sanitary)
- please put away all toys (prevents other dogs from choking)

There are additional rules on entrance signs before entering the park. Feel free to read those to help make our park safe, clean, and beautiful.

The dog park sod installation project is now complete. A very big thank you to our resident Dave, my wife Virginia, and our good friends Jaden and Bobby for all the help.

The last remaining step is the bedding area under the tree. After that is complete, the park will reopen on November 4th weekend. The sod needs approximately 4 weeks to establish good roots.

Thank you again to all current residents for being patient with us during this process.

While waiting on sod delivery for the dog park, lighting is now installed in the center island. My camera doesn't do very well in darkness but here is a pic of what was done. The lighting color is actually a little warmer than what is shown.

The dog park now has topsoil installed. This was quite a bit of work but should create a great base for sod to grow well...

The dog park now has topsoil installed. This was quite a bit of work but should create a great base for sod to grow well in. Sod should be here early next week. (weather permitting)

We also have plans to fill the area under the tree with full shade, low maintenance plants along with small rock.

Please keep in mind it is every dog owners responsibility to clean up after their pets which includes dog waste plus any toys that are used. It is also the owners responsibility to not allow their dogs to dig anywhere inside the dog park or outside on our property grounds. If walking your dog outside of the dog park, all dogs must be leashed for the safety of all our residents.

Good day, everyone. North Manatee Tree Service is back on our property and they are doing a wonderful job trimming trees for our park.

Along with improving the look and health of our trees, we desperately needed our west property line trimmed back in our overflow lots and boat storage. This is a drastic change but will allow grass to grow and have us maintain our perimeter more effectively with string trimmers and pole saws.

We always look forward to working with them and will have them back soon to trim up the RV storage area.

Here is some progress on the dog park. Border pavers are finished, irrigation was trenched, and now the irrigation system is installed and running.

Next up is topsoil then grass. This will be started by the end of this week or the beginning of next. After the grass is in, it needs time to establish roots so we will inform everyone when the dog park will re-open so please be patient.

Starting tomorrow morning, the dog park will be closed until further notice to finish the project. There will be a sign posted on the entrance gate along with a lock as a reminder.

Please be patient with us as there is a lot to accomplish. We will be informing everyone when the project is complete and when you can re-enter the park.
