A customer came in with a knocking sound that turned out to be a failed lifter. He wanted to upgrade to a high-lift cam, but with high mileage on the clock, we refused to close it up without checking the bottom end.
Lo and behold: The rod bearings were down to the copper.
Because we love seeing these builds done right, we gave him a “passion project” discount, billing only 24 hours of labor vs. the book time of 30.7. He got lucky—and now he’s got the power to match the reliability.

can you explain why the N55 actuators on your kit (90001692) are a different design than any others sold individually I never got a reply from the Parts-House I got it from 🫠

W222 spark plug change, 1.5 hrs, interestingly enough cylinder 7&8 had noticeable carbon buildup which could be a sign of oil consumption. For now we will make the note and make sure the oil level is noted at next service.

Emergency light bar replacement on this stunning 2011 G55 AMG
As the vehicle was going to be driven over long distances only the necessary was used to avoid whistling. Customer provided light bar and wiring from previous install was used. 1.5hrs including mounting gaskets.

Difficult diag when this expedition came in dead with intermittent no start. Turned out one of the PCM connectors was wiggling a little too much and that caused the pcm to exit the chat, come to find out the harness is backordered for a WHILE, tested our luck with used harness and theyre back on the road... 2.5 hours of labor because alldata didnt have a labor time. to be fair this harness shouldn't ever have to be replaced 😬
