We celebrated a very special milestone at JMS Therapy Services.

After 6 incredible years of speech therapy, one of our amazing patients has officially graduated! 🎉💙

Watching her grow over the years has been nothing short of inspiring. We have celebrated big breakthroughs, the hard days, the victories that only those on this journey truly understand, and so many moments in between. Seeing the confident, capable young lady she has become is exactly why we do what we do.

It has been an absolute privilege to walk alongside her and her family throughout this journey. While saying goodbye is never easy, there is no greater compliment to our therapists than helping a child reach the point where they no longer need us.

To our sweet graduate—we are so incredibly proud of you. Thank you for allowing us to be a small part of your story. We can’t wait to see all the amazing things your future holds. 🩵🩷

Some milestones are worth celebrating… even when they’re a little bittersweet. 💙✨

Today we celebrated an incredible young man as he officially graduated from Occupational Therapy! 🎉

Watching our children grow, gain independence, and achieve goals they once struggled to reach is the greatest reward we could ever ask for. While it’s never easy saying goodbye to families who have become part of ours, there is no better reason to do so than seeing a child no longer need our services.

💙 The power of co-regulation 💙

Sometimes the sweetest therapy moments are also the most meaningful.

In this moment, our occupational therapists are holding and swinging with their learners, providing the support, connection, and sense of safety that helps children regulate their bodies and emotions. Through co-regulation, children borrow the calm, rhythm, and reassurance of a trusted adult as they develop the skills needed for self-regulation.

What may look like “just swinging” is actually helping build trust, body awareness, emotional regulation, and connection—all essential foundations for learning and growth.

We are so grateful for these beautiful moments that remind us that progress begins with connection. 💕✨
