Considering an EV? This is a good article to help make that decision easier, without giving a definite YES or NO about which is more affordable to operate. It also doesn't even touch on some things, like how long it takes to recharge, where to go for service, or possible hazards. I guess those aren't finance related, but they do enter into the big picture. I think I'll wait for them to work all the bugs out, but then I AM a little bias.

We use data and simple math to attempt to answer this very complicated question, and in the process find both enlightenment and more questions.

Our pets LOVE to go for rides, but if you are stopping anywhere, consider if the place is pet friendly. It's just not right to leave animals, children, or the elderly in the car, even if it's running. Your car can overheat and shut off if you aren't there. It's not worth taking the chance.
