Auto Collision Rebuilders in Palatine, IL is seeking a full time Auto Detailer. Previous experience in automotive detailing is preferred.

Responsibilities:
- Must be able to cut/wet sand, buff and polish an exterior of a vehicle.
- Pre-wash vehicles prior to inspection/repair.
- Performs complete detail after vehicle repairs have been completed.
- Inspect all vehicles for delivery quality standards.
- Visually inspect every vehicle for flaws in the repaired area.
- Efficiently work and maintain company minimum standards.
- Maintain detailing equipment to ensure proper performance.
- Organize and maintain the inventory of detail department supplies.
- May involve cleaning and removing dirt in the engine compartments.
- Vacuum the entire vehicle to remove dirt and debris.

- Provide general administrative office support plus customer support.

ACR prides itself on quality work! Our customers and partners are constantly seeking great turnaround times and quality + safe auto body repairs.

Responsibilities:

- Writing estimates, managing supplements, and compiling supporting documentation and images in accordance with insurance partner(s) and company guidelines. Including related and unrelated collision work.
- Greet customers and check-in/check-out vehicles (including inspection of vehicles).
- Maintain invoicing and customer files, i.e. document activity notes.
- Maintain and execute a timely schedule before, during, and after completion of repairs. along with managing time/repair planning & part orders for technicians.
- Maintain continuous communication and contact with customers and insurance partners throughout the repair process.
- Manage interaction with insurance partners/agents, dealerships, vendors, parts providers, fleet companies, partners, and car rental companies.
Inspection of parts and supplies as received.
