MARIN AUTO BODY SHOP
IT’S TAKING PRECAUTIONS
IN RESPONSE TO CORONAVIRUS
I am Wilberth Marin, Owner of Marin Auto Collision and Palatine Complete Automotive Shops; I know at this time, we all are concern regarding the COVI-19, we are an essential business for you and your family. We are here to help in any way necessary I already instructed my employees here in my companies, that we all need to take all the precautions in response to coronavirus.
We have plenty of bottles of water on-site because one of the things with the coronavirus is to make sure you’re drinking a lot of water. So, we’ve really stocked up on that. The shop has also stocked more gloves so employees can wear them when inspecting customers’ cars, so we need protection when opening door handles, touching steering wheels, and checking the mileage of the vehicle during the estimating process.
If in case you are not feeling comfortable on coming into the shop, I completely understand, I already have a backup plan in place for all my customers, I will be available to go over your damages via FaceTime or other sources of video-chats, please feel free to send me pictures, videos or FaceTime me of a video about the damaged of the vehicle, put you email and information, I will be sending you an estimate via email.
As far as our technicians and I will be here until further notification.
I am protecting myself, washing my hands more often, using my mask all the time, and not shaking hands right now (I will shake hands only if I have my gloves on)
I can assure you that we all need to be in a different mindset now. I have also made it mandatory that if an employee is feeling ill that they do not come to work and that they must visit a doctor and bring in a slip that states that they have visited the doctor and that they are cleared. I believe that it is inevitable that all of us are about to feel some level of concern from this, but hopefully no one we know contracts this thing. Right now, we are operating business as usual. If the coronavirus and shutdowns continue, we will run into issues getting parts since a lot of them come from China, Canada, and Mexico, it could be a problem.
