One night. One park. A whole lot of flavors. 🌮🍕🍔

One of the things we love most about First Thursdays Food Trucks is the chance to discover food you might otherwise have to drive all over Ventura County to find. Each month, independent food truck operators come together at Plaza Park, giving you the opportunity to try something new, revisit a favorite, and experience the creativity that makes food truck culture so much fun.

This Thursday, we’re excited to welcome Wahrifornia Bites to Downtown Oxnard! Chef Abdel brings together Algerian, French, Spanish and Italian influences in a menu that’s definitely not your everyday food-truck fare. From loaded burgers and sandwiches to pizza and other creations, there’s plenty to explore.

That’s really what First Thursdays is about — come hungry and try something different. Enjoy dinner in the park with music and shopping, grab something to take home, or bring some friends and order from several trucks.

And a big thank-you to the food truck operators who show up month after month and the community that continues to support them. We couldn’t do First Thursdays without either of you.

Something completely new is rolling into First Thursdays this week!

We’re excited to welcome Shake Ramen to Downtown Oxnard for the very first time — bringing their signature ramen-in-a-cup experience to Plaza Park.

Shake Ramen has been serving Southern California for more than a decade, appearing at major events including Anime Expo and 626 Night Market. Now, Oxnard gets a taste!

Flavor-packed ramen, fresh toppings and bold combinations — all served up in a cup that’s made for walking, eating and enjoying a night at First Thursdays.

We’re kicking off August with another evening of great food, music and community in the heart of Downtown Oxnard!

Join us Thursday, August 6th from 5–9 PM at Plaza Park as some of your favorite food trucks roll back into Downtown Oxnard for First Thursdays.

This month we’re also bringing a different sound to the park with an 805 Night featuring electronic dance music to keep the energy going throughout the evening. 🎧⚡

Applications are now open for our First Thursdays Food Trucks event on Thursday, August 6th in Downtown Oxnard!

We're looking for local makers, artists, crafters, boutiques, specialty retailers, and community vendors to join us for an evening of great food, live music, and shopping in Plaza Park.

With hundreds of visitors each month, First Thursdays is a great opportunity to showcase your business, meet new customers, and be part of one of Downtown Oxnard's favorite monthly traditions.

Vendor spaces are limited, and we strive to create a diverse mix of vendors for our guests.
