We at McCarty's are posting this with heavy hearts. We lost an amazing man today to a terrible hit and run. David Fischer was everything you could ask for in a employee. When he wasn't operating our heavy wrecker, he was working in our automotive shop making life easier for everybody he worked around. David was a caring individual who saw good in everyone and showed what it meant to be a good person. Our prayers are with his wife and family. You will be greatly missed by many.

We hope this tragedy opens eyes to how important slowing down and moving over for emergency vehicles is. This is a major issue all around the country. Taking the time to slow down and move over can prevent these accidents.

We will miss you David and we promise the shop cats will not go hungry.
