We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our service team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Ford and Nissan for vehicle repair and maintenance, with a strong focus on diagnostics, mechanical systems, and customer service. This role offers the opportunity to work with a variety of vehicle makes and models, and to utilize advanced tools and techniques to ensure optimal vehicle performance and safety.
Duties
Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and automotive repair tools to identify issues accurately.
Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire service, wheel alignments, suspension repairs, shocks & struts replacement, and brake repairs.
Repair and replace complex components including transmissions, powertrain systems, and diesel engines.
Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for mechanical repairs and adjustments.
Execute advanced repairs involving ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), auto body repairs, welding, and auto estimating when necessary.
Maintain detailed records of repairs performed and communicate findings clearly to customers.
Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
Assist in vehicle inspections for maintenance needs or safety concerns.
Experience
Proven dealership experience or extensive background in automotive diagnostics and repairs is preferred.
Familiarity with Ford and Nissan vehicles, diesel engine repair, automotive electrical systems, and auto body repair is highly desirable.
Hands-on experience with schematics interpretation, alignment procedures, suspension systems, shocks & struts, brake systems, transmissions, powertrain components, and automotive electrical troubleshooting.
Experience working with various hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and auto estimating software is advantageous.
