(Owensboro, KY): Windy Hollow Speedway hosted two nights of racing action to kick off the Labor Day weekend as the track hosted the Bluegrass Street Stock War presented by Kelley Trucking on Friday and Saturday.

In the CRUSA Street Stock Division, Owensboroβs Chad Boone made a last lap pass on his owner, and teammate Tyler Nicely to score the victory in the $2500 To win feature with Nicely finishing in second and Jaxon Moore completing the podium.
In the 602/604 Crate Late Models, Dustin Rollins led flag to flag to score the win followed by Zach Dennis and Brody Yarborough.
In the Rusty Bolt/Bomber Division, Colin Boone crossed the finish line first but was disqualified due to a weight issue in the post-race inspection. Owensboroβs James Embry was credited with the victory followed by James Dale Embry and Trevor Tune.
Camarillo Californiaβs Ricky Lewis was the winner in the opening nightβs feature of the American Sprint Car Tour followed by former winners Derek Crane and Chad Freeman.
Hansonβs Ellie Jewell captured her first career win in the Junior Crown Vic division followed by Jaxson Boling and Charlie Ashby.

On Saturday, the CRUSA Street Stocks returned for Day Two of the Bluegrass Street Stock War presented by Kelley Trucking. The 50-lap feature saw numerous cautions and multi-car incidents but in the end, it was Spencer Hughes taking home the $7500 Winnerβs Check along with lap leader bonus. Jaxon Moore finished second followed by Corey Neil Jr.
Adairville Kentuckyβs Chad Freeman bettered his Friday night third place finish to take home the win in Saturdayβs American Sprint Car Tour feature. Derek Crane matched his Friday night performance with a second-place finish followed by Mike Landis. Landis also captured the season championship on Saturday night at Windy Hollow Speedway.
Dustin Rollins continued his weekend sweep with the feature win on Saturday in the 602/604 Crate Late Models. Zach Dennis finished second followed by Brody Yarborough.
Beaver Damβs James Dockery captured the win in the Crown Vic division followed by Camden Rudd and Kyle Lambert.
James Embry swept the weekend in the Rusty Bolt/Bomber Combination series with Colin Boone finishing second followed by James Dale Embry.
Ty Ralph dominated in the mini stock feature, taking home the win followed by Travis McDaniel and Jared Ball.
In the Economies, Anthony Plumeri and the 11X Camaro led flag to flag enroute to a $1K Pay Day for the final race of the night. Morgan Vanover finished second with Kyle Lambert rounding out the podium.
Windy Hollow Speedway will return to action on Sunday, September 20th.
