This past Monday was my Dads Heavenly Birthday…fast forward to today. I did something I’ve never done before. I operated a tow truck without any supervision. Today was a success, between video calls with Bryan Gates and with Duane Gates watching from above. I made sure and told all my customers today that it was no negative review day on Google. I’ve got 1 more call to get tonight and then day 1 as a tow truck driver is in the books. Miss you Dad. It was really nice to experience what he did everyday to provide for our family and also help others when they needed a tow or unlock.
I towed more than 2 but only took 2 photos.

This post is so hard to write, yesterday we lost Duane Gates. He met so many great people through the business. Duane’s Towing is currently owned and operated by Bryan Gates. Helped get this stump switched over to a new enterprise truck we towed to Des Moines air port so the customer can get back to Florida and make it into a table.

Just dropped off this BMW in Des Moines. Customers towing insurance paid for the whole tow.
