O-Line is making progress every time it hits the track. 👊
The first video is Saturday night’s hook, O-Line’s third hook ever and Ethan’s second of the weekend. Compared to Friday night, the difference was HUGE.
Ethan got O-Line out of the hole much better and continues to learn this new power plant incredibly fast. He’s been soaking up every bit of advice he can get from the veterans around him, and that’s what this industry is all about. There’s a ton of knowledge in the pits and we’re thankful for everyone willing to share it.
Saturday’s pass was looking promising until we had the fuel cut out around the 100 to 150 foot mark. Obviously not the full pass we wanted, but for only the third hook on a completely new setup, we couldn’t be happier with the progress.
The second video is Friday night’s hook and O-Line’s second hook ever. Even then, we saw leaps and bounds of progress from the first time out. Ethan got out of the hole better but shut it down pretty quickly. Looking through the data, we were still chasing some e-gate issues. During cooldown we also noticed the knuckles had broken loose where they’re welded to the axle tubes.
So out came the welder, we got everything fixed up and went right back after it Saturday night. 😂
At the end of the day, we have a solid running truck and right now that’s what matters. The rest will come.
Ethan is more excited than ever about the future of O-Line. There are going to be plenty of late nights studying data, learning, making changes and figuring out exactly what this truck wants.
But that’s really the roots of O-Line. Building it, learning from it, making it better and going back out to try again.
We’re just getting started. 🤘
