We are excited for some nicer weather and with that is exciting changes coming soon here at the shop! (No Alicia sadly isn’t the new welder 🤣) but Yes despite untrue rumors that have circulated we are still here and going strong with all your automobile needs! If you can’t get ahold of Ricky on the shop phone 417-646-2162 you can always reach his cell he’s in garage with customers cars. Stay tuned for some upcoming things to better serve everyone! Today starts a new week and yes we ARE still open and STAYING Open! If you don’t reach ricky on the shop phone and need any work done call him directly He’s just in the garage working on customers cars or had to get parts. We appreciate each and everyone that has supported us through these years and we are planning on still staying and serving you all as our customers. We are open Tuesday-Saturday 9-5 or later if need be. You will be seeing some changes around with some upcoming plans on the property and we are very eager to get a different view to help with us better serve our customers. Howdy! (as Marty always said)
Well, this is a bittersweet day for me. I started helping Marty at Hash's in 1987. I started by organizing his files and office when he was working out of the garage outside of Vista. He and I worked side by side until his death in 2015. I tried to carry on without him but I just wasn't strong enough. That is when I sold the business to Ricky and Alicia in 2018. They kept me on and I am very grateful for that. I have decided that it is time to start another chapter in my life and concentrate on my family. I am really going to miss seeing my 'resident loafers' and visiting with everyone every day at the shop. I will especially miss the stories and laughs.
My youngest daughter reminded me of a Bible verse today.
Philippians 3:13-14
The verse reminded me to quit looking to the past and keep moving forward toward the future and what God has planned for me, whatever that may be.
Thank you to everyone for the years of friendship.
Please continue to consider Hash's Muffler for your auto repair needs and I know Ricky wouldn't mind if you wanted to share of a story about Marty with him.
