2017 Cascadia. No crank, no start issue resolved. The transmission was the culprit, contrary to initial expectations. At McKain Diesel, we diagnosed the problem through code analysis, identifying a faulty shift control unit. We're replacing the rear main seal, clutch, shift control unit, and TCM on this DT12 transmission. Contact us for expert assistance with farm trucks, especially during peak planting and harvesting seasons.

Whew what a summer it has been!! Have you heard the news or seen some different activity around? We now have a building, it’s a work in progress, but it’s something! We will be located about 3 miles south of Stockton, at the old airport, right north of nutrien on hwy 183. Need any diesel work done…ac, routine maintenance, brakes, something bigger? Stop on by and we will do our best to get you back up and running smoothly, just in time for fall harvest!!

We are still mobile for now, but can do repairs at the shop. Don’t hesitate to call 785-545-8580 to get on the schedule!

Starting tomorrow we at McKain Diesel will be able to accept credit cards for payment as well as you don’t have to worry about buying a stamp to send us a check for payment because we will be able to accept ACH(automatic/electronic check) as well. If you haven’t yet and would like to get a customer portal all we need is your email address and you can look at all your previous invoices as well as make payments. Wow it’s been a while since I’ve put a post on here. I hope everyone’s year is going well and your wheat harvest was as successful as it could be with the amount of rain we didn’t get. With these triple digit temperatures I would like to remind everyone to blow out your radiators. That includes your semis, tractors, pickups, grocery getters, combines, or anything else you might have on the farm. If you haven’t got one I would recommend a radiator genie. There are twin packs available with a water wand and an air wand these will come in very handy when cleaning your radiators. We not only have to keep ourselves cool but also our equipment. We hope that everyone has a safe and successful fall harvest and remember I will work on just about anything diesel related you have on the farm. Call or message us to get on the schedule!
