What an incredibly meaningful and humbling evening.

Last night, the Oroville City Council presented Pastime Auto Wash with a formal proclamation honoring our company and our team for donating unlimited free car washes to the City of Oroville for over 11 years.

When the City purchased new vehicles more than a decade ago, we quietly made the decision to help protect that important investment. Since then, we’ve kept Oroville Police Department, Code Enforcement, and other City vehicles clean, shiny, and well-maintained and with a nice coat of Ceramic wax at no cost to the taxpayers.

This was never something we publicized. It was simply the right thing to do for the community we’re proud to call home.

We’re deeply honored that the City Council recently learned of the thousands of washes we’ve provided and chose to recognize this ongoing contribution.

Thank you to Chuck Reynolds and Scott Thomson for bringing this proclamation to the council and Mayor David Pittman, Eric Smith, Janet Goodson, Tracy Johnstone, and Shawn Webber the entire Oroville City Council, and City leadership for this thoughtful recognition. Moments like this remind us why we do what we do.
