Low tire light on a cold morning? Your tires probably aren't leaking. 🥶

Cold air shrinks. Tires lose about 1 PSI for every 10 degrees the temperature drops, so a 70° afternoon and a 40° morning can cost you about 3 PSI overnight.

The fix: check your tires cold before you drive, then fill them to the pressure on the sticker inside your driver's door jamb, not the max number on the sidewall.

Your tires have a birthday. Find the 4 numbers after "DOT" on the sidewall: the first two are the week, the last two are the year. 2219 means week 22 of 2019.
