I recently started a YOUTUBE channel for the shop and all the other truck stuff going on. Excited about this one! Brian Elliot’s 1972 K5 Blazer CST. I got the metal slivers on this one and Deven Sprague finished it off and made us both look like rockstars with that Factiry Medium Blue. Very Thankful for Deven and our shops and us being able to work together on projects like this. Couldn’t make them pretty and painted without him ! Metal work was super extensive on this one.. look through the pics. This build was challenging due to parts availability more than anything else. We saved original quarters and rear floor due to no availability. Did Full Front floor, new doors, extensive cowl and firewall repairs, Blazer B pillar assemblies, rocker boxes, NOS tailgate, windshield frame repairs, new dash, outer rockers, more I know I am forgetting. Excited to see Deven get it bolted together and back to Brian so he can get it finished and on the road!

Some photos from this years annual “67-72 Beach Party”… had a great turnout and friend from close and very very far bring out some cool trucks. A total of 42 67-72 trucks and another dozen or so classic cars and trucks. If you didn’t make it you just simply missed out! Look forward to next year.

Was able to finish up all the Rust Repair on Tony’s Blazer after finally getting a passenger quarter panel we were waiting on for months. Truck had the typical Blazer rust… EVERYWHERE. Was a fun project start to finish and Couldn’t ask for a better customer.

Little C10 project that came through the shop, rear tank relocation, bed floor replacement among a few other mods and repairs. New aftermarket gate and roll pan. Was a fun project!

Dragged home some ‘72 cabs and a few decent parts today. A lot going on in the shop and a few new customer projects. Will post some more pictures and details soon!

New truck joining the Gold City fleet.. 1972 GMC K1500, battered bruised and more than it’s fair share of rust. But runs like a top and goes down the road great. Going to be put to work as the Winter Shop truck. Plow duty quite possibly in her future.

… just picked it up last week and already headed to her new home in Alberta.. 1972 Cheyenne 10 with true 38k original miles.. the nicest and most original truck I have ever owned and the most original truck I have seen in a very long time. Bed and tailgate appears to have never been used. Truck came from the Brewster area… Despite its very low mileage it still sat outside most of its life… so the okanogan Valley sun did a number on it. She weathered and work and showing some thin spots. All I have done is clean it up, buff it out, tune it up and a few other little odds and ends.. don’t have to do a whole lot when they are still practically a brand new truck. It still drives like new. Smooth and quiet. Ill never forget any 67-72.. but this one is just something else! Sad to see it go but it’s going to a good home.

Been slow posting here lately.. guess I have been busy working! Big Red yanking home a few trucks over the last couple weeks.. some new exciting projects in the shop. More updates soon!
