Today was one of those days that reminds us why we started Detail 207 in the first place. ❤️

A while back, we talked about ways to give back to the community, and the idea came up to donate a free detail to a single mom who truly deserved something positive in her life. Today, we had the honor of doing exactly that for our friend Erika Lewey.
Last year, Erika lost her husband in a tragic motorcycle accident. Since then, she’s continued pushing forward every single day with strength most people could never imagine. Life can get unbelievably heavy, and sometimes people spend so much time surviving that they forget what it feels like to simply have something good happen for them.

So today, we wanted to change that — even if it was just in a small way.

We took her SUV and gave it the full Detail 207 treatment. When we brought it back and she saw it for the first time, the emotion hit hard. Seeing her reaction, reminded us that this business is about more than clean vehicles. Sometimes it’s about reminding someone they’re seen, appreciated, and not alone.
Erika, thank you for allowing us to do this for you. Your strength is inspiring, and we hope today brought even a little bit of light during a difficult chapter of life.

To everyone reading this: be kind to people. You never truly know what someone is carrying behind the scenes.

This Jeep came to us from my buddy Joe and when he asked if I wanted a project, I wasn’t sure what we were in for. He just got it and wanted us to get it looking right. Well, after plugging away at it, I feel like we got it looking good. Thanks again Joe. We hope this little buggy makes many memories!

I started this 4-Runner exterior a few days ago. With slightly conflicting schedules, I got most of it done the day of the original detail, but I wasn’t happy with the end result. After working around some weather, I finished it up tonight. Lori, I’m sorry this happened to your brand new truck. The new automatic car washes definitely do a number on paint. Even tho it’s still not 100%, it doesn’t look white anymore. I’m happy it came out nice and I’m always here to answer any questions.

As one of my first year customers, that I now consider a friend, Josh, it’s always great to see you and get your car cleaned for you. It’s the first Toyota Crown I had done and still the only Crown Wagon. Overall it came out great and I look forward to seeing you after the pollen settles.
