Thanks to M-Engineering we are going to first unlock the ECU on this 2025 and then we are going to give it max cowbell so my family can experience first hand what it’s like to drive a modified vehicle!Keith DiMarino and I were joined at the hip every summer as kids; we surfed, raced RC cars, had fierce wiffle ball battles - you name it! He made the long drive down from Philly to bring me this beast and I told him that when it returns I got $ on a drag race against his Hellcat Redeye Jailbreak! Who will win?!?

Going, going, gone! Manual GT4RS 002 is headed to Car Week in Monterey! Mechanically it’s been finished in stock trim for over 2 months with the remaining time spent on the ECU calibration and drivability! This car’s ECU is a derivative of the 992 GT3RS platform but it was never meant to live without shared information from the PDK controller, requiring a lot of revision.

The car will return after Car Week for the installation of the shorter 1-2-3-4-5-6 gearing, the ECU will be reflashed for the gear ratio change and with lots of potential hiding in the stock GT4RS ECU, it will get a nice bump in power!

Ride onboard with Spencer as he absolutely crushes any prior lap times for a Cayman GT4RS Clubsport running without restriction like it does in the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge or SRO GT4 series classes. This was his 2nd flying lap that he did during the opening practice for the 2026 IGT event at Watkins Glen; while not an officially timed session to be considered a qualifying or race lap record it roughly 2 seconds faster than anything anyone has executed in this trim!
