JDM Express Japanese Auto Parts 10.00 Index Class Joins Championship Points Series at Orlando Speed World
Orlando, Florida — Orlando Speed World Dragway is proud to announce the addition of the JDM Express 10.00 Index Class to the highly anticipated Championship Points Series, presented by GRS-Motorsports.com.
Designed to bring competitive and exciting racing to the import drag racing community, the JDM Express 10.00 Index Class delivers a balanced and driver-focused format where precision, consistency, and race strategy will determine the champions.
The class features a 10.00-second quarter-mile index, creating a level playing field for competitors while still allowing a wide range of performance combinations. With minimal restrictions and a focus on driver skill, racers will battle throughout the season for championship points and prestige at one of Florida’s premier drag racing facilities.
“This class is built to showcase the true essence of competitive index racing,” said series organizers. “With a strict 10.00 index and limited electronic advantages, the spotlight is on the driver, the team, and their ability to deliver consistent performance round after round.”
The JDM Express 10.00 Index Class will run under a .400 Pro Tree format and allows a variety of import-based combinations, including any import motor and door-slammer body configuration. Automatic transmissions are permitted; however, competitors must utilize a foot brake only, with no transbrake allowed, ensuring that driver reaction and skill remain a critical factor.
Additional rules prohibit sandbagging and throttle-cut devices, reinforcing the spirit of fair and competitive racing throughout the series.
Safety remains a priority, with all competitors required to run an engine diaper or catch pan with a minimum two-inch clearance, and all participants must display the official class sponsor decals throughout the event to be eligible for payouts.
The JDM Express 10.00 Index Class is proudly supported by COMP1 Clutch, GRS Motorsports, and iShorty-Tech, whose continued involvement strengthens the growth of import drag racing at Orlando Speed World.
As part of the Championship Points Series, drivers will accumulate points across multiple events while battling for the season title, cash payouts, and the recognition that comes with becoming a champion at Orlando Speed World.
Competitors from across Florida and beyond are expected to take part in what promises to be one of the most exciting and competitive import racing classes in USA.
