✂️ Split Ends ✂️

Trims are sooo important to the health of your hair! Consistent trims remove the dead, split ends that cause trouble if left alone. Without regular trims, split ends will continue to split up the hair shaft … imagine tree branches off the trunk. These splits break off in different places on every hair strand, creating and uneven perimeter shown at the green line. To even this out, your hair should be cut where it has the fullest density (Yellow Line) in order to ensure ALL of the split ends have been removed. While the yellow cut line is the healthiest, the red and blue lines show acceptable amounts to trim as well.
