Mitch’s Autoworks proudly serves Utah County and has built a reputation for honest, high-quality service and long-term customer relationships. We’re looking for an experienced Automotive Technician who takes pride in their work, enjoys diagnostics, and wants consistent, reliable workflow in a professional environment.
This is a great fit for a technician who values both independence and ownership; someone who can manage their work, solve problems efficiently, and deliver repairs done right the first time.
What You’ll Do:
Diagnose and repair domestic and import vehicles
Perform general repairs (brakes, suspension, maintenance), along with engine, transmission, and electrical work
Troubleshoot drivability and electrical issues efficiently and accurately
Maintain organized workflow and clear communication with the team
Take ownership of your work while upholding quality and safety standards
What We’re Looking For:
5+ years of hands-on automotive repair experience
Strong diagnostic ability (electrical experience required)
Experience with engines and transmissions
A dependable, professional technician who takes pride in doing the job right
Team-oriented, but capable of working independently
Own tools and reliable transportation
Valid driver’s license with a clean record
ASE certifications are a plus
Compensation:
Commission-based pay structure with uncapped earning potential
Most experienced technicians earn $5,800–$9,200+ per month, depending on performance
Consistent workflow that supports steady hours and reliable earnings
Pay increases with efficiency, skill, and quality of work
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Occasional Saturdays (as needed)
What You Can Expect:
Clean, climate-controlled shop with modern diagnostic equipment
Steady workflow supported by an established customer base
Emphasis on accurate diagnostics and quality repairs over unnecessary sales
Strong mix of diagnostic and electrical work—not just basic maintenance
Professional, organized environment with clear expectations
A team that values quality work and doing the job right the first time
Leadership that supports technicians and keeps work flowing
If you’re an experienced technician who enjoys solving problems, takes ownership of your work, and wants a shop where you can stay busy, earn well, and focus on quality work, we’d like to talk.
