Public Service Announcement:
As of October 1, 2025, the title fee for vehicles in Wisconsin will increase from the current $164.50 to $214.50. The last increase was six years ago, seeing the same title fee jump from $69.50 to today's $164.50. We have no control over this one, and apparently the initial proposal was a $120 bump rather than a $50 increase.

EDIT - One of our team was just at the DMV this morning and spotted a few additional fee changes coming at the same time.
Driver license renewal to increase from $34 to $42.50
Trucks 8000lb and over (C plate) increase 10%. As an example, a C-plate (8000-9999lb GVWR) will increase from $106 to $116.60.
Replacement plates increase from $4 per plate to $6, and they're typically issued in pairs.
New issue plates have a new fee of $6 per plate (again, issued in pairs).

It does look like there are going to be two new special plates. One black with white lettering, and the other sounds like a throwback, being yellow with black lettering. No official images yet.

The good news is that we still have this month to beat the fee increase!
