Those pesky blackberry bushes taking over your property? Now’s a great time to tackle them!

If you live in the Pacific Northwest, you know just how quickly blackberries can take over fence lines, fields, and just about anything else in their path!

Did you know fall is one of the BEST times to spray blackberries? As the growing season winds down, blackberry plants begin moving energy and nutrients down into their roots to prepare for winter. This makes fall a great time to treat them, as certain herbicides can move through the plant and help control those stubborn root systems, not just the growth you see above ground!

Thankfully, we carry herbicides like Crossbow and Garlon 3A to help you get those overgrown areas back under control.

It's Meet Us Monday!
We're kicking off a new weekly series to introduce you to the people behind Fischer Mill Supply! From our family to the familiar faces around the dealership, we thought it'd be fun to share a little more about the crew that keeps things running around here. 😀

First up, meet Colin Dunn!
Colin is our Sales Manager and has been part of the Fischer Mill family for 10½ years! He grew up involved in 4-H and FFA, showing cattle and pigs, and raising Christmas trees. These days, he still works on the family Christmas tree farm.
One of Colin's favorite things about working at Fischer Mill is being involved in the community and helping people find the right equipment for their needs.
A few fun facts about Colin:
Outside of work, you'll find him hunting, scouting, or, in his words, "trying to farm." 😂
He's a bit of a history buff and knows a surprising amount about just about anything historical!
He's a fan of country music, but not necessarily the kind you'll hear on the radio.
And his workday wouldn't be complete without a cup of Bill's coffee!
