“It’s the gray SUV out front” helps us find it. A few more details help us repair it. 😉

Your vehicle’s VIN is its unique identification number. It helps our team look up vehicle information, narrow down parts, and find applicable repair procedures.

Because two vehicles with the same model name can have different equipment—and parts aren’t always interchangeable.

The VIN is a starting point. Checking the vehicle’s actual equipment and manufacturer information helps fill in the rest.

Small details. Fewer assumptions. That’s this week’s Truth Tuesday. 🔧

No, those aren’t all the same tool. And yes, they need all of them. 😉🔧

Take a look around a collision shop and you’ll find drawers, carts, and walls full of tools—each with a job to do.

But the most valuable part doesn’t fit in a toolbox: the experience to know which tool to reach for, how to use it, and when a different approach is needed.

A little peek inside Fix Auto, where the tools get plenty of use and the people behind them deserve plenty of credit.

🚗 SAFE DRIVE SUNDAY

Your teen finally got the keys. Their phone should take the back seat. 😉

October 18–24 is National Teen Driver Safety Week, and this reminder is for new drivers—and those of us who’ve had a license longer than we’d like to admit.

Before the car moves:

📍 Set your navigation.
🔕 Silence notifications.
📱 Put the phone away.
✅ Buckle up.

The “where are you?” text can wait. Getting there deserves your full attention.

Need to check your phone or change directions? Find a safe place to pull over and park first.

And parents: they’re watching how we drive, too. Let’s give them something worth copying.

New driver. Same rule: eyes on the road.

Who’s the local business you’re always telling people about? 👀

The coffee shop that knows your order. The lunch spot you refuse to gatekeep. The small business that remembers your name and takes good care of you.

This Saturday Spotlight, we’re making room for your favorites.

Drop their name or tag them below—and tell us why they deserve a little love. We might find our next shop lunch spot in the comments. 😉

This Civic had enough of making a dented first impression.

Driver’s-side damage and a broken mirror in the before. A finished repair worth a second look in the after.

Behind that transformation is careful work from our team—and we’re proud to give it a little Finish Friday attention. ❤️

Your car is our workplace for a little while. But it’s still your car. ❤️

Your school pickup line survivor. Your grocery getter. The place you get five minutes of peace before walking into the house. We get it. 😉

Taking care of it means paying attention to more than the damaged area. It means protecting the interior, treating your belongings with respect, and remembering that someone is trusting us with a big part of their everyday life.

Treat it like it belongs to someone you know.

That’s The Jesse Way.

The paint gets the compliments. The prep does a lot of the heavy lifting. 😉🎨

Before the spray gun comes out, there’s sanding, cleaning, and careful masking to do.

Sanding helps prepare the surface for the next coating. Cleaning removes contaminants that can affect the finish. Masking protects the areas that aren’t being painted.

It takes patience—and a whole lot of attention to the details you may never notice once the job is done.

Your car’s paint has been through a few summers. And approximately 400 parking lots. So how do we match it? 🎨

The paint code gives us a starting point—but there can be variations within that same color. Age and sun exposure can also affect how your paint looks today.

That’s why matching takes more than ordering “silver.” Our paint team checks the color against the vehicle, adjusts as needed, and blends into surrounding areas when the repair calls for it.

“Close enough” might work for matching socks. Your car deserves a little more attention. 😉

Hood up. Bumper off. Monday is officially underway. 🔧😂

This is the part you don’t usually see between dropping off your vehicle and picking it up—the work in progress.

It’s not the shiny before-and-after reveal just yet, but it’s a real look at a day inside Fix Auto. And every finished repair has a middle chapter.

🚗 SAFE DRIVE SUNDAY

Your backup camera is an assistant. Unless you’re riding in a Waymo, you’re still the driver. 😉

A recent Ford recall is a good reminder: **certain 2026 Rangers with a 10.1-inch screen can lose the display—including the backup-camera image.**

The recall covers 11,405 vehicles. Not every 2026 Ranger is affected, so checking your VIN matters.

Own one? Visit **nhtsa.gov/recalls** and contact your Ford dealer about recall **26C42** for next steps. Ford’s recall report says a fix is still being developed.

And whatever you drive: check around your vehicle before getting in, use your mirrors, look behind you, and back up slowly. Your camera adds another view—it shouldn’t be your only one.

The screen can go blank. Your attention shouldn’t. 👀
