Now that the A’PEXi N1 EVO-R for the Toyota GR86 / Subaru BRZ is back in stock and flying off the shelves, here’s something to consider if you’re running an aftermarket rear bumper or diffuser.

Some aftermarket aero extends significantly farther out than the factory bumper. When that happens, your exhaust tip can end up sitting too far inwards or looking “sunken” into the diffuser.

And it’s not just an aesthetic issue.

With the exhaust exit sitting deeper inside the bumper, hot exhaust gases are directed closer to your aero, while soot, carbon, and oily residue can gradually collect around the exhaust opening.

Nobody wants that on their nice new diffuser or freshly clean car.

A’PEXi has a simple solution: the A’PEXi Titanium Slide Finisher.

Designed for A’PEXi N1 Muffler exhaust systems, the slide finisher allows you to adjust the exhaust tip extension to better match the depth of your aftermarket bumper or diffuser.

Available for:

• 90mm exhaust tips (N1)
• 115mm exhaust tips (N1)

Adjust it to where you need it, give the exhaust gases a cleaner path away from the aero, and finish off the rear of the car properly.

A’PEXi N1 EVO-R for the 2022+ Toyota GR86 / Subaru BRZ is back in stock, with a few engineering updates.

Through continued testing and feedback, we noticed that under higher G-forces from hard circuit driving or spirited canyon runs, the exhaust could experience some slight movement and may counter some inner trim contact (not visible from outside).

So we went back and made it better.

The original N1 EVO-R layout, sound, and overall concept remain unchanged, but the updated version now incorporates additional hanger brackets to better secure the exhaust system and minimize unwanted sway during hard cornering and highload driving.

With this revision, we have officially superseded the original part number:

1̶9̶2̶K̶T̶0̶0̶1̶ → 192KT003 (Version 2.0)

Much like an OE manufacturer would issue a running production update, we wanted to properly communicate this change rather than quietly replacing the previous version.

We appreciate the feedback from our customers and enthusiasts who continue to put our products through real-world use. That feedback allows us to identify areas where we can improve, even when it means revisiting an existing product.

And for those currently running the original Version 1.0 / 192KT001, don’t worry! We haven’t forgotten about you.

A quick fix update kit for existing owners is coming very soon.

Who said RAV4’s can’t be cool?!

In our previous post, we introduced the Toyota Japan OE Window Visors for the new RAV4, but if you want something a little more extra, there’s another option.

The TRD (GR) Window Visors are also available!
