Picture a 2025 model truck with 3700 miles on it being towed in for a *crank-no start concern*
2/3 of a tank of fuel, good battery, no immobilizer issue. Spray a little happy juice in the intake and boom, fires up for a few seconds.
Push it into the shop, scan it.
Two present codes for fuel injector driver 1 and fuel injector driver 2.
Suspicious.
Pop the fuse box open and what do I find? 2, 15amp fuses, sitting atop their neighboring relays. Guess what they are fuses to...
Yep fuel injector 1, fuel injector 2. (Bank 1 and 2)
Popped them in, clear the codes, fires right up. Runs for an hour in the bay and no issues on test drive.
Notified the customer and "nobody has been under my hood!"
Well those 15 amp fuses didn't jump out of there. You didn't hit a bump and they popped out and landed perfectly on top of the neighboring relays.
ME- Any buddies of yours that may play a joke on you?
HIM- No! They'd never.
ME- Wife?
HIM- I'm not married, I just broke up with my girl...(long pause).....lemme call ya back!

Sounds like some skullduggery and tomfoolery if I ever heard such a thing.
Probably should double check his brake lines in the morning. π¬π¬ππππππ
