🪦 The fuel supply line popped off (due to brittle pieces) and we originally came and put a zip tie to hold it for the moment. But after picking up some clips, we came back to do a better repair.

🪦 Owner wanted us to figure out why the car was shaking and stalling. We did a smoke test and found air leaks at the rear cat and a leak by the front cat. But we didn’t want to confirm the front cat until we could get eyes on it.

We cleaned and tried using our scope to see the area better. We eventually found a cracked block that was pi***ng oil.

Not the new we want to give our client.
Combined with a knock sensor code, there’s definitely something internally wrong.

Owner saw our story about working on the 94 Corolla that was Non Op. He had the same situation so he called us out. We got through the basics and then had to confirm if the motor was good or not. Unfortunately, we lost compression in cylinder 4 and cylinder 1 has low compression comparatively speaking to the others.
